The first 3 that failed were replaced under warranty, but I am now no longer under warranty.
I first thought they were MCD blinds, but I contacted there tech support and found out that they are not. The MCD rep thought it might be Auto Motion, but I contacted them and was told it was not an Auto Motion shade. It does look a lot like the Irvine Slow Rise shades on their website, so that might be it.
When I removed the spring assembly and the auto-stop assembly I didn't see anything obviously broken or worn, so I'm not sure exactly what is failing.
