Max plumbing pressure thor motorhomes

I recently bought a 2010 Cruise America rental return. (28A) I want to upgrade the water pump from a 3 GPM unit to 4 GPM. The original unit had 45 PSI stop & 25 PSI restart. The new one is 55 PSI stop & 40 PSI restart. Doe sanyone know what the PSI plubing rating is in a motorhoem of this year? If its 100, then i am OK, if its only 60, then its pushing it. The wife does not like how the dometic toilet flushes or the shower pressure, so the pump ugrade would help that. I never hook to city water, I always fill the tank & use the pump. Mainly as I RV in Mexico for 6 months and the city pressure there is terrible.

Normal city pressure is 45-60 PSI so that should be good. If they are PEX lines in 2010? they are pretty resiliant but i'd dare say 100 PSI. I almost never use my pump but use city water as I have an adjustable pressure regulator. I have yet to encounter too low of city pressure or that which I can't adjust to suit my needs.

Welcome to the forum... and a lot of folks seem to set their adjustable regulators up near 55 psi: you should be okay!

Look near your city water inlet....my Outlaw has it clearly imprinted that the max psi is 100... i do not get near that and keep my regulator about 60-70 if i can get that much at a park
