International Truck and Engine Company supplied Ford with the first of the "PowerJokes". It took Ford nearly 30 years to finally produce a decent commercial diesel engine.

Agree with gritz they are horrible engines always blowing the egr cooler and dumping antifreeze through the dpf system,and a lot of turbo issues, the company I work for made Navistar buy back most of the trucks with maxxforce engines and went to cummins.
