Miramar 35.2 lost 12v on Pass Side Slide

I have lost the 12v lighting on the passenger side slide(Bedroom nook and kitchen). Main BR lights still work. Checking at the nook switch, I have about 4v, not enough for the LEDs. Tried to trace back to the fuse panel, but too much crap.

Any ideas of likely issues?

Is that 12 volts between the wires or 12 volts from positive to ground? Sounds like it may be a corroded ground connection.

That is 3.8v between wires. Let me see if I can find ground back there in that cabinet.

There is 3.8v measured from one wire of the switch to ground.
There is -0.25v measured from the other wire to ground.
I do not have continuity to ground from the -0.25 wire.

OK, I thought you were measuringat a light fixture, not the switch.

But, the switch is interrupting the + 12 VDC side to the lights. I assume that 3.8 VDC to ground (and to the light side of the switch) should be 12 VDC. The -.25 VDC on the light side is just stray induced voltage, and I assume that is measured with the switch open.

So probably not a ground issue but a + 12 VDC issue - a corroded or loose connection somewhere. Time to back trace, that wire going to the switch. I would assume all lighting is on the same fuse so if the other side is working then there's probably a crimp splice somewhere that is the problem.

Thanx Ace, I am thinking the same thing, but the wiring is just a mess. I have looked downstream at the other lights and switches and nothing, so, the 12v supply is likely the issue. Just need to find it.
