Mold under awning

I have slight mold spotty under my main awning. Must have had moisture when I rolled it up last. What’s a good cleaning procedure?

Hopefully less elbow grease.

Thanks

Spray a diluted mix (50/50) of water and bleach all over the underside with a pump up hand sprayer. Let it dry completely. You can use a long car washing brush with soap and water after than but still...let it dry real good before rolling it up.

Dometic procedure

Mix 1/4 cup bleach with one gal water.
Spray on the awning
Retract the awning and let us sit for 20 minutes
Extend the awning
Rinse and let dry

The bleach, vinegar, baking soda and other methods all work. Bleach is the cheapest and requires a bit more care due to the physical properties

I use 3% hydrogen peroxide sprayed directly on any "stains" and then follow the procedure Ace posted

I carry the peroxide for the potable water tank and wiping down hose bibs so it is always in the bay

Spray a good awning cleaner on it top and bottom, roll it up and let it sit an hour, come back and open it up and hose it off. Don't do like me and stand under the awning while rinsing the bottom. :-)
