My Hot Water tank had to be "reset"?

We took the RV out for a weekend trip (might be the last one of the season) but the Hot Water tank would not work at first.

So I check the switch at the HW Tank and it was on, The Temp gauge next to the sink was on but it would never show it firing up - even after running both faucets for like 5 minutes.

Then I remembered that I have not used it since I disconnected the battery when I stall my Big Foot Levelers. So I thought that might have done something.

So turn off the switch on the HW tank and then I checked the fuse and it was fine but still would fire up. I left it off while did some other stuff and when I came back it fired right up and worked fine.

Has anyone else have this happen to them?

I figured it had some air in the propane line and took a little bit to clear out but I never heard it click like it does until after I shut it off for 30 minutes or so.

your talking of a instant hot water heater right? if so theres no tank per-say. air in propane line would do it. i dont remember the circumstances but i had to do the "hard reset" on my instant hot water heater and it worked fine afterwards. i think air in the propane confuses and/or/ faults it out.

Yes, tankless WH. Sorry I should have mentioned that.

But in the past the HWT would keep clicking and trying to light until the air is purged then it would fire up.....were this time it did nothing (no clicks and the water gauge did not show anything except set water temp. until I shut it off for 30 mintues or so. Very odd.
