Question on window shades

My 2015 Vegas 25.2 has several window shades that will not stay up after only 7 months of use. Is there an adjustment that I am missing?

Sorry I don't have the specifics because it has been a couple weeks since I searched the issue. They are adjustable and it has to do with the string on right and left side. On mine I just needed to take up a little slack by wrapping the string around the bottom spool. Here is a link that may help.

Just picked up our 2017 Vegas 25.2 and have a question about the front windshield night shade. I know there is a programming button on the drivers side of the shade, but does everyone else's night shade come all the way down to the dash? Ours is about 8" from touching the dash when fully extended. I'm figuring I need to program the shade to come down farther???

Thanks

If you have a United Shade you can find the programming instructions here:

If you have Day-Night shades, just tighten the cords on each side a little. On mine, I loosen the screw holding the cord in place and pull the two cords down a little. Do the same, pulling the cords down the same amount, on both sides of the shades.

If the engine is on, the shade will not come down to the dash

Just wanted to thank all of you for these posts. I actually needed to know how to adjust the Slow-Rise as well as the string type shades.

It's sad that I can't go to Thor's web site and get this type of information easily, but nevertheless, I am thankful for this forum and all of you.

Bill

Bill - At the bottom of the chords on each side is a clear plastic "bobbin" held in by a screw. Loosen the screw and turn the bobbin to tighten. {P.S. It took me a while to figure this out}
