Mystery connector under our door

We have a 2020 Hurricane 29M.
Was sitting outside and notice this connector dangling under the door just behind the step up.
Looks to me like something plugs into it and maybe became unplugged? Any input would be appreciated. TIA!

It’s most likely for the step light fitted to some models.

We don’t have the light or the switch inside on our 34F, if you don’t have a switch inside for the light then you won’t have the light.

The previsous post is partially correct......

Most powered steps have an automatic step light but you can also add a switch to turn the light on and off manually. That connector is for an optional step light switch.
