Mystery Powder on Counter

I have a 2019 Thor Axis. It has been in storage for the winter. Can anyone tell me what this mystery powder on my counter is? The photo is sideways and I don't know how to flip it.

Can’t tell for sure but it looks like there was a leak and it is residue from water in the wall.

Yep, salt (not necessarily NaCl or NaI) residue.

What do you mean by salt? Can you explain further? K.

So you want to revisit high school chemistry?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salt_(chemistry)

The salts in the water remain after the water evaporates. Think of lime deposits.

Please no chemistry...LOL. I just thought that there was alot of residue, more than what I thought would come from water, but then again there is all of the other glues, foams, etc. that I guess can be in that water as well. K.

Could be what's left over from a bit of water that leaked in, but I would think there would be a bit of brown where the edge of the puddle was before it evaporated. Have you ever had a water leak in that area?

You thought it was in storage. Used to run drugs and they just neglected to clean up. Check all compartments for any packets left behind. Also check the mileage.
Seems to be a lot of salts.... Any bug holes above the area?

I am searching the 'net and it seems like a 'common' problem and I have not found one definitive answer to this. Most say carpenter ants, that they even bore into blue or white Styrofoam (did not know that), some say it is the blinds rubbing on the metal window sill, a lot just guess.

Interesting. The RV will be going in to get some service the beginning of April. I will ask the dealership if they know what it is as well. In the meantime I will go on the roof and take a look.

Well; that's not entirely impossible.
If you find a rolled-up Franklin behind the couch: sell the RV!
