Mystery water valve on 2005 30q

Greetings

New guy here from Canada

Recently purchased a 2005 Thor Hurricane 30q on the Workhorse P32 chassis.

All is good and in good tick.

However.

What is this gizmo?

Swinging it through a 270 degree seems to do nothing.

The 1/2” or so clear hose behind it appears squished and may be blocked.

Tried google but hard to describe

Thanks in advance

Larry

So how does water come out?

I have water in tank, and pump on.

Kinda high for gravity

Thanks

Larry

looks like your photo is sideways then...

regardless, it IS below the Fresh Water tank fill, which is a big clue, and it IS just like many campers for the tank drain. if water is not 'coming out', then it could be plugged or the water line crimped. The water pump being on would not have anything to do with it.

Same setup as my previous rig.. 2000 Infinity.
Fresh water tank is in rear wall with gravity fill above and drain petcock below. (Rotate picture 90 degrees)
Should be a small access panel to access water pump from inside. That should also give you a view of the drain hose.
Either hose is plugged or valve broken.
