Need dinette table latch

Again dealer tried to fix this. When driving table latch comes down and drops the table. All screws ok..this is a design issue.

Need some simple latch that can be also removed or moved to the side to drop the table when needed for a bed?

Ideas welcome

I did use tape and it held

I had the same issue and had a shop move the latch over slightly to keep it engaged in the slot that holds the table up. You have to make sure the bar is inside the slot to keep the table up. Not the best design.

New coach, why aren’t you getting the issue taken care of under warranty?

Dinette Latch

Same problem with out Thor. Latch won’t stay in place when driving. Poor design. Anyone got a better solution than duct tape?

Same design in ours. We don't drop/raise ours very often. So far no issues with ours... just lucky I guess. I wonder if using it often makes it wear out sooner??

I think it's a neat idea, but just poorly engineered.

Ha

Everything breaks in a RV!

He documents its well!

I use the table to hold down my mini egg grill when traveling! I have to pull like heck to get mine to engage full up.
