After all of that, I'd wrap myself in bubble wrap, sit in the corner and suck my thumb. Or drink.

Good job, camper! Not losing your sense of humor in the face of a day like that is the mark of a gentleman. Safe travels!

I cooled down quite a bit with iced tea and took the dogs out for a short walk. Man there are tons of flying insects here in the KOA we came across in IL. Anyways, i pulled out the tire from the dolly I replaced. The steel belt broke and punctured the side wall of the tire. Tool about 20 seconds to deflate when the TPMS started going off. I saw the numbers going down fast. That was when I started slowing down and pull to the side of the freeway. That TPMS do work!

Stuff will happen, it's how we respond that matters. Great job of staying calm (well mostly it appears) and powering through. These too are memories one day you look back on and laugh about.

Safe, trouble free travels on the rest of your journey.

when you get home, join the Good Sam membership, they will handle all of this for you. The 2021 THOR has that new 7.3L powerplant. I have the 30.4, engine is rock solid, after first oil change, getting over 9 mpg.
