My model# is 8531-IV. DCLP and I’m not finding any videos on my particular unit, I see two blue wires running around blower to the back of the blower where it’s not accessible . So am I looking at pulling the whole furnace or can I get to it by taking out the bedroom drawers?

I see a couple tips in that video I’ll try but we’re leaving for month long trip next week but since it’s all down south I think we’ll be ok without the furnace, we have a electric heater if necessary, thanks for the info

The real question is: Why do you think you have a sail switch problem?

Thought it be the easiest to check first , can’t get to it so I might jump the wires that go to it and see if that has any effect.

Or look in the troubleshooting section of the manual or tell us what you are experiencing. We can help you troubleshoot the problem.

With "ninja" in your handle and you are worried about 'cold and dark'?

Did unplugging power connector help/change anything?

Can we have more info, symptoms like
Blower doesn't start.
Blower does run but I do not hear clicks.
Blower does run, furnace clicks but does not start.
Blower does run, furnace does start but only only runs a few seconds.
There are more symptoms but this will get you started

Good luck and keep updating

My you are a young whippersnapper then, riding GPZs! I now know why 'cold and dark' can be scary... You then must have red hair when you also talk about "Tomorrow" (Annie). Are musicals in your blood? Just kidding...
So back to yer problem, watch some videos, get the wiring diagram (real simple to read), get out the voltmeter and then dive into the wiring of the beast. Again, real simple.... really.
Good Luck!

And one thing... Keep your face away from the intake/exhaust when trying to ignite the burner, if it does ignite while full of gas.... boom.
