The ? is should I get new deep cycle 12 volt Batteries and try to add a third Battery, or should I get Two 6 volt Batteries and put them in series? The two Harris Batteries had full charge at Night and almost dead by morning, that's why thinking of adding a Third

Have you checked the water levels in the batteries?

Replace with better deep cycle battery (12v or 6v). Any battery is better than the OEM Harris Battery IMO. They should last all night just fine so no need for 3 (Unless you want even more storage).

Two - 6 Volt AGM is best (IMO). But if you have room for 4 then go for it.

I did extensive research on this before I replaced my 2017 Axis batteries (which were only 11 mo old) with Two Full River AGM 6volt. The AGM’s are a little shorter than 6 V lead acid, which allowed them to fit under my step.

See my writeup; Not sure how to attach link here but it was "review of my 6 volt AGM Batteries"

AGM batteries should be in you sights: any of the name brands will fit your needs.

I have always had excellent performance from Interstate deep cycle batteries, both in an RV and also a bass boat. Reasonable price.

first, I wouldn't necessarily assume that your batteries 'need' any type of replacement... it sounds like they may be performing just as they should.

second, without knowing your circumstances, your coach, your usage, the weather, etc... we have no way of knowing whether we can give you 'advice' on battery usage, or replacement, though I suppose that you may even find the same 'almost dead' scenario even with new batteries. Define what 'almost dead' means for you.

If my batteries lasted all night, I'd be happy...and I have 4 6v deep cycle, and have successfully used them for 4 years and 84,000+ miles - they are still the originals. I don't expect them to last all 'night' as we have a lot of usage even while sleeping, whether tvs, receivers, cell phone chargers, laptops, fans, fridge, etc.

I've got a garage nearby, and they only sell Interstate Batteries. Assuming that they can get the ones that I want: is there any reason that I shouldn't just go through them?

None at all. I always try to shop local whenever possible, then I have someone to go to if I have problems. Plus I like to support the merchants in my community!!!

Thanks! I figured that it's probably best to ask the folks who know about this stuff, first...

Just replaced our house batteries with 2 Duracell Ultra BCI Group 27M Deep Cycle batteries. Our house batteries would only keep the stove light on for approx. 2 hours. Was left stuck with the slide open

Here are some pictures including the dimensions on our 2015 Vegas 25.1.

I will follow back up and let you know how they hold up.

John
