Does anyone Coat the toilet inside with fiberglass RV wax?

Has anyone done this?

Not the toilet but I wax the fiberglass shower enclosure during the annual dewinterizing. Makes the shower easier to cleans and reduces soap scum between cleanings. Did the same in the house for years.

Maybe if it was plastic... but then, I wouldn't have anything but porcelain. I'm a certified neurotic clean freak with the bathroom - so not an issue.

I've considered waxing the walls (not the floor) of the shower though. I'll likely do that before this next season.

We always wipe the shower down immediately after use, which almost eliminates the soap scum issue. I use those magic erasers if necessary with a little Dawn - works like a charm.

Not the RV, but my shop toilet and sink gets
Aero wash wax all.
I tried
NeverWet
But it didnt last.

Mine is just an experiment to see how the chemicals last under a bit of use and agitation.
The micro bead ceramic spray wax would be nice to try.

Three flavors of slick.

What's missing is the two part system that hit the market before NeverWet by about a year.
$400 per gallon and worthless that stuff was.

I pictured myself spraying exhaust fans and floors and fenderwells and the underside of the offroader, and boots and hats.

6 years later...still haven't.

(Check those discounts on the price tags. The Never wet was 50% off for $4.49)

I don't wax my toilet bowl but what I have done for years is leave a little water in the toilet bowl and put a little mineral oil on top of the water, the water doesn't evaporate and when you are taking it out on a road trip the seals get lubricated on the first flush

Silicone spray, born from necessity.

Yes and I then use the buffer with a long extension cord to do the walls of the black tank.

That picture is information overload!
If you want to use something, use RainX. When we did not have a sprayer I used it. Everything went down slick as snot.
