Need part for 31Z

Haven't posted in a while. Diesel pickup pulled in front of me and damaged LF corner of MH. Took collision shop 3 months to do estimate. Now parts on backorder since then. I need BU9Z-3N058-E (radiator support ?) so they can put the front fiberglass cap on and finish repairs. Ford dealers I call say that part is on backorder with no get well date. The F53 chassis has been in production for over 10 years, hard to believe at least one is not in a warehouse somewhere. Any Ford reps out there, I need help.

I googled it several showed up and on eBay. eBay was the priciest $300+. Lincoln parts outlet was $233.00.

turns out I have the part number wrong

It is 8U9Z-3N058-B, makes no difference, still on backorder and no one has
one in stock that I can find.

Still no success. All authorized Ford suppliers list 8U9Z-3N058-B as 'on backorder". I did find one non Ford website that lists it as "Discontinued" This part should have been the same from 2009 until 2020. In 2021 the RV stripped chassis went from the V10 to a V8 engine. Not sure if the support remained the same. Appreciate everyone's help. I can not get anyone from FORD past a dealership to get in touch with me. Customer service is no help, they refer you to a Dealer. Vicious circle, no answers.

Is it something you can take to a machine shop to have fabricated? Back order is back order and usually there’s nothing anyone can do about that and normally the first orders placed are the first orders filled.

Try this salvage yard. Last time I was there I was amazed at the number of RVs they had on the lot. Maybe they might have just what you need.

over 9 months now. Ford Customer Service can not or will not give me a date the part supplier intends to ship parts.

Just because the website will let you order one does not mean they have one. I have called and emailed numerous Ford dealers and the ones that resell Ford parts. They do not have the part in stock.

I did finally get the insurance company to agree to a (used part). Last time I checked with the collision shop, they had called a couple of places and could not find one. Knowing their sense of urgency they will give up.

Well in 3 more days it will be 1 YEAR since the accident.
FORD kept promising they would get the part 8U9Z-3N058-B all this time. At one point they even told me it had been shipped. Wrong. now the word is that the part is obsolete and no date for if or when they will get a new supplier for the part.
I have checked several RV junk yards and only one says they have one. Not sure if a 2006 part will fit the 2018. If it comes to it, the insurance company may have to shell out close to $1000 to find out.
The FORD parts guy who had the 8U9Z-3N058-B ordered is trying to get a part for the 2020 and above F53 since it looks the same in the parts book. The parts book says it will not fit, guess we will see if and when it comes in.
In the meantime, if you have a F53 chassis 2019 and older, just hope you don't need this part. The new part LU9Z-3N058-B is used on 2020 and later. Guess the Detroit Chassis factory is sucking up all the parts right now and FORD could care less about past customers.
