I received a few emails from Camling World today. They let me know they received approval for all of the warranty work and have placed an order for the parts with Thor. They also ordered the parts I asked to be added to the rig. The body shop is evaluating and will get back to me with the estimate.

On Saturday Camping World called. They gave me the estimate for the body damage. I authorized the work. So far, very happy with Camping World service department.

So we have had a delay waiting for two items: Fridge light switch and generator compartment lock. I spoke with Thor and they said they have been having an issue with supply from Dometic. I am guessing this added about 2 weeks or so to the wait for parts.

The parts showed on Friday. Got a call from Camping World they are all done and I will pick up the camper on Saturday. I will let you know how it goes.

So far very happy with Thor and Camping World's response and attention.

OK, so, picked up the camper today. All the work requested was done. The body work looks like it was never damaged. All the other items we asked be corrected where. All the items we had extra service was done. Both Camping World and Thor were a pleasure to deal with. Time to camp...

Glad you got your rig back, but more than 5 months for repair and warranty work seems excessive. I would not be happy about that level of service.

Wasn't 5 months. I dropped it off on Jan 3. Was 7 weeks with 2 week delay for back ordered parts.

Your first post about the incident was in October. That was 5 months ago, did your insurance company cause a delay in getting it in the shop?

No insurance. No nothing caused a delay. We used the rig and waiting till there slow time from October till January.
