My opinion (that's all this is, take it for what you paid for it) is that the Schwintek system is overtaxed to operate large (full length) slides. It may be (just a guess) that there is insufficient support of the weight of the slide box. Ideally there should be multiple rollers under the slide that support 100% of the weight and then the slide mechanism only has to move the slide box in/out. With inadequate support the slide system gets overwhelmed trying to support some of the weight.
Examine the slide tracks (easily visible when the slide is extended). If you see any evidence of wear in the rack (the convoluted section the pinion gear meshes with) then start thinking of service or replacement.
Schwintek seems to advise not to lubricate the slides. But many RV repair videos advise doing so. Do some research and make your own decision.
