New tail lights

Noticed I had a brake light out the other day when I was checking lights. Had to get the RV inspected (PA). Found the bulb wasn’t burnt out, but the socket was deformed and not making good connection. I made some modifications and got it to work. Bought some LED lense assemblies off of Amazon. Like other people have stated, the directions suck. Figured it out and installed them and used heat shrink butt connectors on the wiring connections. I’m happy with the brightness and the fact that they won’t leak now.

Looks like a good job. Glad you were able to figure it out with the LED lights.

The wiring isn’t bad. You just have to combine the two turn signal/brake wires together and then combine the two parking light wires together. So I stripped those four wires about a quarter inch and twisted them together. The two brake together and then inserted them into one end of a butt connector. Then the two park light wires get twisted together and into another butt connector. The ground is white on the RV and the lamp assembly. Those get butt connected as well. My reverse was a red wire that got butt connected to the blue wire on the lamp. Four connections. Heat shrunk them and then reinstalled the lense. I attached a pic of the drivers side where I added an led plate light assembly as well.
