No AC power (help!)

This morning I woke up to no AC in the rig. I was plugged in to the park’s power. The surge protector showed 2 green lights. I checked the fuses - all were OK. I reset the main for good luck. Still no AC power. I turned on the gen and got through the sh*t/shower/shave ritual.

Since it was a travel day, I drove to the next park. But still no AC. The guy next to me had a VOM, so we checked the cable and, “YES”, there is 110 going into the rig.

Summation: No power. But the generator works. All fuses are fine. I am guessing it is the BIRD.

I have a 25.2, so the BIRD is in the basement under the driver’s seat. But I don’t see any resets, etc.

HELP MR WIZARD!

Since the BIRD has nothing to do with AC it can not be the problem. If you generator supplies AC but shore power does not then it may be the automatic transfer switch, but with Thor's reputation my money is on the wire nut connections that connect the shore power cable to the transfer switch.

Get neighbor with meter and check transfer switch. Since power good into coach and gen power is working - that is the most likely source of your problem.

Location can vary by rig... On my Hurricane is under the bed.
If you have downloaded Ed's manual for Axis/Vegas, I'm sure he points you to it.
It is a 'sticky' post on forum if you need to download it.

For those with a 25.2, it is definitely under the stove. And it was clearly the issue since I can push the relay closed and it connects. Now to just locate one near me. Or else I have to wait for Monday.

On our 2017 25.2 the transfer switch is behind the drawer under the fridge, it is a black box with lots of wires. After reading posts about the wires coming apart in the transfer switches one of the first things I did was locate it, open it, and check the connections. Fortunately every thing was wired quite well (surprise surprise).

And FINALLY, we have working power. The culprit was the inline surge protector. At least I now know where the transfer switch is located. And “Oh by the way”, Thor installed the transfer switch incorrectly. They had the gen going to the shore power terminals and visa-versa. It still worked. But didn’t match the drawing on the switch cover.

On the 2015 25.2 it is under the burners.
