No power 12 volt side

I just replaced the battery isolator and converter. The isolator that I replaced was Jerry rigged also completely burned out so here is a picture of the one I put in is the wire that says 5 amp max wired correctly? That wire is what had a 15amp fuse in it and went across both sides of the solenoid. I put a jumper on both sides and got power so looking for some help

Your new install looks pretty good. The red wire with the 5 amp fuse is the power supply to the USE/STORE switch to operate the latching relay. There is also a ground wire to the switch but it is connected to the chassis elsewhere.

So basically the USE/STORE switch takes the + 12 VDC and applies it to the yellow and yellow/black wires in one direction momentarily to move the latching relay to one position, and then the opposite way to move it to the other position.

So to eliminate the possibility of a bad latching relay you could apply 12 VDC to the small terminals momentarily to verify it switches as required.

IF OK, then move to the switch and verify you have both the positive from the red wire and the 1 from the ground wire, then verify the switch works as required. The will require the use of a multimeter. Hopefully you have one and are well versed in using it?

Yes I do. I can hear the solenoid latch. Yes verified the 5 amp wire by removing it and placing it back I will try the test between the two smaller wires. The label on the battery side says load then the side coming from converter says battery that's the way it was when I replaced it

Note I ran the generator and all 12v systems work. I checked both sides of relay with use switch in both positions and read 13.5 volts both times
