No power on 12 volt. Transfer switch?
Thanks in advance for the help. I know I have read about this before but cannot find. Everything works fine on shore and generator power with the use store switch illuminated However no power off 12 V batteries with no solenoid click present. There is also no clerk between store and use under shore or generator power. The batteries read full When power on but unfortunately my voltmeter did not work so I could not test.
My main question is which switch under my bed is the culprit and how easy is it to replace. I have an automatic energy switch select switch from Intellitec and an automatic transfer relay from progressive
Any advice is greatly appreciated

The transfer switch is on the AC side of life - selecting between the Genny and shore power. Doesn't have a role at all when unplugged and not running Genny.
On most of our rigs, the use/store does nothing when 110v is present... as the converter is supplying 12v regardless of anything else.
Also why the 'batteries' will read over 12v when plugged in... Really seeing the converter output.
I would start with rig unplugged at batteries. check the voltage.
Check the 100a breaker right near battery... See if flag is popped out...
Next would be the use/store switch and it's solenoid.

Thanks. I forgot to check that breaker[emoji33]. Any idea where the solenoid is.

Well - we've all learned that every rig is different.
Haven't seen it elsewhere - but anything is possible. It should be the 'first stop' the primary wire leaving the positive battery terminal makes.
Were you able to check the battery voltage while unplugged?

Yes. Both 12.5. I trace the wires until they entered the rig and then I lost them

Just bumping this to see if anyone has ideas. I received the plans from Thor yesterday, but they don't seem to be specific for the location of the solenoid. The pic that they sent me of the solenoid was bigger than the one I located, but similar. On the plus side customer service from Thor was very nice and sent the plans immediately.

Don't know where it is on the Four Winds. On my 2015 Vegas 24.1 it is behind the grill in the hallway where the hot water heater bypass valves are located. Thor mounted the relay on a bulkhead under the wardrobe. To find it I had to move a bunch of heater ducts and wire harnesses. It was a real PIA to find. I had someone switching the USE/STORE back and forth between use and store and then followed the clicking noise to find it.
At least here a picture of what it looks like -- hopefully yours is the same kind of relay.

Thanks so much- that is the same pic they sent me- different than what I posted, but I should be "warm" in its location- wondering if it is under the floor where these wires travel to. As for the clunk- mine doesn't do that anymore; that is the issue Hindsight i wish i would have found it when it worked....

I don't understand your comment above. So does anyone know what is the piart is that I took a picture of? I am hoping the solenoid is below this somewhere after I take the cabinet apart...

Would need a larger picture I could zoom in on - but appears too small to be a solenoid...
I was hoping someone else with your particular rig might know the location and provide an answer...

Yep, a 225 x 335 size picture is about useless, but it looks like a thermal link, not a solenoid.

Yep, thermal or fusible link; not a relay.

relay
The relay is on the end of the red wire. It looks like you need to remove that panel that the wires go into.

Thanks. Ended up finding it in the corner buried beneath this area. For anyone w a 28z in the future it is next to the toliet under the counter.
I still have not located the breaker from the battery compartment however.

Just for reference I had my mechanic out today. The picture enclosed is the reset for the breaker that is located next to the sink on the 28z. That tiny button needed to be reset. Hope this helps someone.
