Remove ice maker Whirlpool in Guardian 31

hello all. New to the group and need some help. We just purchased a used Thor Guardian 31 with a Whirlpool fridge that has an ice maker. We will never make ice and need more room in the freezer. Is it possible to permanently remove? if so, how do I get it out and how to I cap water line so it never leaks? thanks much

Just google the model they are very easy to remove. Usually 2 screws and a plug. Shut off water to ice maker before starting lol.

Are we both married to the same woman?

We went through three portable icemakers in our Class C's, but our new rig has a residential fridge with in-the-door ice and water dispensers. She is now a happy camper.

We now pack big cubes of ice from home and bring pba free ice trays

Took ours out. Took up half of freezer. Found water cut off to frig behind draw. Took out screws and unhooked power, was easy.

Bring ice in a bag and we have ice machine in one of our bays if needed.
