Multimedia Receiver

My center console is missing for my 2016 Thor Vegas 25.2 ie: Multimedia receiver, heater controls , other switches.
Will a new receiver work verses the over priced old one for the side and rear cameras? Has anyone changed it out?

Um your question prompts a question: Was it empty when you picked it up or was it stolen? (If stolen the joke is on the thief! LOL).

Quite a few people have replaced the radio. I replaced my Jensen with another Jensen and are currently contemplating replacing it again...

On my Thor Four Winds, the camera selection for the side view/rear view is done by a separate unit, similar to https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00OYGPVP0...v_ov_lig_dp_it

I replaced the receiver that came with it that failed with a new one. No problems so far. The new one doesn't have the features (no CD/DVD player) but we didn't use that much anyway. We are using our phones for music more and the new one interfaces well with our phones.

It was stolen or taken out before I received it. Might be a challenge trying to mount.

Do you have the center panel where all the parts mount to? That piece is removable and I can see that being damaged or even destroyed by the errant thief.

You could always call Thor, get a part # and see if a local RV dealer will order one for you (it may make things easier to mount having a good panel).

I am realizing there must be something missing that I can mount my parts to.
All I have is an open hole with nothing to support the receiver, heater controls or even attach the bezel to.
Guess I will spend some time with the parts department

Went thru a dealer to get the radio bezel from Thor.
After 6 weeks the wrong part came in.
I got Thor to give us the print and reordered the part.
5 weeks later Thor says vender sent them the wrong part so reordering again.
Think I'll go to Ford and see if they have the part. Guess I see why someone stole it now!

To me a bezel is like a picture frame, a covering around an area, not something you mount anything to.
