Transfer switch wiring is loose: a Thor standard.

Actually in the panel? Or from the transfer switch to the panel? That's where it's normally loose as Mike said, the wirenuts.

Yep, Check my post "Transfer Switch Meltdown". Wire nuts should not be used in any situation on an RV.

That link didn't work.
On our Miramar, we have an automatic transfer switch. I'm assuming we might be off the hook on this transfer switch loose wiring issue.

The automatic switches are the ones with loose wires...

Terastone, No you are not off the hook. In addition to your Automatic Transfer Switch, your water heater is also installed with wire nuts.

OH boy. Ok, so the recommendation is to replace the wire nuts with inline connectors with weather proof ends?
I don't know where all these connections are exactly, but I'll go fishing for them.
On a slightly related note. My water pump did use the yellow inline connectors but the water pump wire slipped out of the connector. I did replace it with a fresh connector and melted the ends for stability and weatherproofing.
What I was asking for before, was pictures to aid in determining exactly where these connections are in relation to the appliances themselves.
