No Shore Power to House Batteries

2018 Hurricane 31s

My son is currently at a park in Lancaster PA on shore power since yesterday. According to him there is no power to the house batteries. Switch is set to "USE" and no battery voltage is appearing on panel. Also, no power to generator, seems SP is working for lights, TV, etc.

His Report back to me is that fuses and breakers were checked. I had read about some type of breaker in engine compartment but, neither of us know about that.

Suggestions?

Thank You !

There can be a 50A and 100A Bussman breaker that can control power to the 12V power center and then the generator and levelers. Not sure about your specific model but they are usually near the house batteries.

If a little red or yellow flag / arm is exposed, then that means it has tripped and needs to be oushed back in to reset the breaker.

Well when my son was ready to leave the site (after spending two days on SP) the jacks would not retract, generator would not run move than 5 minutes at a time and still no battery voltage showing on the panel.

Finally the jacks came up and he drove back from PA to Jersey. Well as if the RV heard my unkind words of anger, the house batteries were at 13.5.

Oh my.

Well thanks for the help, we will keep an eye on this

Because they were charged by the engine alternator. You still have a problem between the house batteries and the DC buss/Converter.

On the Tuscany you have to push the charger button to turn it on if it has been shut down.

If you want to you can leave the charger turned off and run off the Magnum for some reason

Same for the inverter
