Cool Norcold fridge issues

I have a 2007 Hurricane 32 E and my Norcold Fridge only works when my RV motor is running. Will not work when AC is plugged in or when I switch to propane. Any insight would be appreciated.

Dead house battery and converter. Fridges needs 12 VDC for control power to RUN on either propane or 120 VAC. That's my best guess on the information you provided. That's assuming you have an absorption fridge and not a residential fridge powered by an inverter (although my guess about the lack of 12 VDC would still be valid)

My suspicion is that you have a problem with your 12V DC system, and that the reason that it works with the engine running is because the engine alternator is supplying 12V.

Do any other 12V things, like lights, work with the engine off?

All the lights pumps and slides work when the ignition is off.

First, I don't know your coach specifics. So, with coach battery disconnect "on"; engine and gen off and shore power disconnected from the coach.....any lights, slides work etc? If not, then as 16ACE27 suggested, you might have a dead coach battery string. Also you might have a 100 amp main breaker mounted on the wall next to (or near) the coach batteries that has tripped.....reset it if it is tripped. If it is tripped you wont be able to start gen or level your coach with jacks.

Do you hear the coach battery latching relay clunk on and off when you turn the coach disconnect switch on/off? If not, then I suspect it was latched in the "on" state and when you run the engine the alternator is powering your 12vdc systems through the "on" coach latching relay, through the 50 amp mini breaker to the converter fuse panel. The alternator should also be charging your coach battery. Put a voltmeter across your coach battery and fully charged is about 12.6 volts; discharged is about 11.9 vdc and charging from alternator over 14vdc.
