Norcold N611 issue

Have a 2018 Chateau 24HL with the issue of the freezer is just fine, but the fridge is not as cold as it should be. Searching on Google found several sites with a pretty specific run down on how to identify what the issue might be. Control board, heater or thermistor. A YouTube search revealed a few videos of how to test the thermistor which is the easiest and quickest to check. It in the fridge and just unplugs.
A quick disconnect of the thermistor revealed that the unit went into backup mode indicated by the green light flashing once every 3 seconds and the fridge cooled rapidly. Approximately $13 dollars on Amazon.
RV maintenance has come a long way, and to those who are just a little handy can save some big cash on the upkeep of one of our favorite things to do.

Thanks for that informative post
Our Norcold fridge is difficult to keep at consistent temperature when it is fully loaded. It likes to freeze stuff.
We have found it helps to have a small battery fan to circulate the air in a full fridge.

We had a fan in the TT and worked.
This will sound strange. But our 30 year montana tech said 1st turn the norcold on and place 1 or more bottles of water to cool. We had a cooling fridge issue and never again after doing this. Also keep items you want very cold at the bottom.

This is what we use in our N611 and has worked wonders to keep everything cold without freezing. Easy to install and low power plus quiet.
