OBD Scanner Question

I have a 2021 THOR ACE (F53). I am looking at Amazon for an OBD scanner that I can use in the event I get another CEL warning while on the road. Is there any specific OBD scanner for this type of application? (F53, V8 engine)? I just need something for Just in Case.

I'm looking at this model. Good to go?

OBDII is a standard.
Almost any OBDII scanner can check and clear codes on almost any OBDII compliant vehicle.
Some tools will have more capability than other tools.
If you put a link to your tool in question we can easily look at it and comment.
Otherwise we have to go searching by name and since Autel makes many scanners you may not get accurate feedback.

OBD II is as stated above. Almost any will work. But if have have a diesel class A you will need a scanner that reads OBD+CAN. The connector is different. This is used on diesels and trucks. I had to get one to clear my 2015 Tuscany check engine fault recently for the dreaded "trans comm fault." Works very well on both the class A and my car.

Looks ok but you may have to update the software to read your newer ford V8.
