Oil Change Tool

For those who change their own oil in their Ford V-10 powered rigs, here's a simple tool to make adding the new oil much easier. No more having to pull the passenger side dash desk to get to the oil filler tube. Not an original idea on my part, someone else posted similar pic's on one of the RV blogs sometime
back. Nothing but an old funnel, couple 3/4" PVC pipe scraps and 2 elbows.
About 25" overall. I'm sure it will work on all Axis/Vegas models. May work on other Thor's like ACE, etc.

That's a great idea! I may have to put that together.

I also bought this to make oil changes a breeze and less of a mess.

https://www.femco.com/

Going to install it during my next oil change.

Very clever and simple. I found a rectangular funnel that takes the quart bottles.

Great idea. One suggestion pour slowly those 90’s will slow the flow down considerably and it could get messy.

I bought this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07P6...b_b_asin_image

And this

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0771...b_b_asin_image

The Green part pops off that funnel, the locked inlet will mount under the passenger side mirror.
Clear vinyl tube will attach the two parts.

I feel kinda silly doing my own oil change to save a lousy 600 bucks(40 bucks in oil and filter subtracted from $90+- oil change) over the next ten years, but I bought the parts before I did the math. I'll do the mod, but probably never change my own oil.
At least it'll be easier for anyone involved.

I like things simple. I have the new Ford F53 V10. At the first oil change I had the technician install this:

https://www.amazon.com/Fumoto-F-108N...gateway&sr=8-8

Now all he has to do is install the 2' tube and there is no more mess.

Y2018 THOR WINDSPORT

I want to purchase the oil drain valve for the Ford V10 engine.
I known the drain plug requires a 5/8" wrench.
But what size are the threads in the oil pan??

Put that on ACE and my 2004 F-150, same one fits both. Both also use the same oil filter and oil, just one more quart in the V-10. Jim.
