Inspect the top of your slides

In the midst of attempting to troubleshoot a potential leak I was inspecting above the slide while 'in' and found a screw poking out. Not the best sitch for the seal. Pic attached.

How did/will you fix it?

Broke it off flush with pliers, cleaned the area with windex, smeared it over with silicone sealant.

I just don't want this tearing the seal or ripping the slide out awning thing.
