Onan 4000 gas generator

I have a 2021 Thor Gemini 23TW. Having an issue with my generator showing as running on the Rapid Camp display. When I depress the generator icon to turn it off if shows stopping then goes back to running. The generator is not running I hear a noise coming from the generator some kind of pump not sure what it might be. I can start the Generator from both the switch on the generator and from the Rapid Camp. I did notice that when I use the switch on the generator and start and stop the generator it stops the noise goes away for a short period of time then comes back after 30 or so seconds. Does anyone know why the Rapid Camp show running when in fact it is stopped, also the noise coming from the generator? Thanks for any suggestions.

I have a similar setup on my 2021 Thor Axis. I think I have used the BMPro (Rapid Camp) once to start the generator. I always use the dash switch or the bedroom switch.

I suspect that what you are hearing is the fuel pump running after the generator stops. That may be caused by a sticking relay that remains connected even when you release the stop switch. Can't tell you where that relay is exactly. It probably is in the generator itself.
