2016 Vrgas chassis battery

The chassis battery is located next to the firewall and requires constant jumping if it sits too long. How do you get to it to.jump it or add water. It's a real pain to try to get alligator clamps on the terminals. Thanks for any help.

Put a knife disconnect switch on it. Then all you have to do is reach in from the front and close the switch before using.

I have one on my coach..

Sure buy one of these: Battery Disconnect switch (Amazon).

And put it on the negative terminal of your chassis battery:

I can open/close that by cracking the hood enough to get my arm in and mostly reach for it by feel.

Yeah it is a pain to get on, but you only have to do that once.
