BMPRO not holding temp setting

Have had issues with bmpro touch screen.stops holding the temp I set & generator start grayed out & generator starts from dash.
Thor emailed bmpro is working on a fix and gave me a number. NO one answers or returns calls.
I emailed thor again for help.
Bmpro was already replaced

Have you updated the BMPro's display recently? If not that may fix it. You have to be near a wifi connection to log in. The manual describes how to do this and update the screen.

I am no fan of the BMPro. Overengineered POS, IMHO.

I feel for people stuck long-term with these resistive touch screen systems. The cheaper ones tend to lose conductivity... and good luck tracking down a wiring issue. It's most likely cheaper in manufacturing to pre-wire a bulk wiring harness than having to string wiring to dedicated switches. If only they used capacitive screens... but that's another story.

Unlike capacitive screens used on all phones today, resistive screens are now mostly used where a stylus is needed... which is probably NOT a motorhome. But they are considerably cheaper in bulk to purchase.

If you're looking for convenience, having a Bluetooth connected phone app (which can be updated) will be more reliable long term. I can see many of these "central control" screens completely broken within a few years... with no warranty, and leaving users with only a phone app to operate the myriad of systems in their motorhome.

Sometimes an idea looks great on paper, but if it's not well engineered with top quality build and materials... you're better off with good old analog switches.
