Only half of RV outlets have power

Got a 2018 Winsport 34J. plug a multimeter into the outlets and only some have power while others don't. Checked the only GFCI outlet with a test/reset button (it's in the bathroom) and it won't let me trip and reset it. I replaced it and still the same. The outlet in the bathroom by the sink, the outlet above the kitchen sink, underneath the table don't have power and the front windshield shade won't come down. I reset the breakers at the generator, checked all the fuses and breakers under the bed and everything seems fine. All the other outlets seem to work but those several get no power.

Bare with me on this.
Wherever your slide is, move it to the other 3xtreme.
If open, close it.

My dead short was in the junction box behind the couch in the slide.

GFI won't reset if it doesn't have power. Did you check for 120 VAC to the GFI when you replaced it?

The EXACT same thing happened to me. Check your outside outlet. Mine was full of water and was shorting out the GFCI no matter what I did. Once I replace that it worked just fine. Open that up and check the connections - if they are wet or corroded you may find that is the culprit.

Good call!
There are quite a few outlets connected to the GFI run
Any of them can be the culprit, but likely one that got wet & corroded.

Smile Got it fixed

Took it back to the dealership and they found out that the original GFCI in the bathroom had a bad wire. Fixed it now we have power everywhere. Also got them to finally show me where the fresh water drain is located (underneath master bedroom bed) Who the hell designs these things! Also got our front shade fixed (bad switch) that's the third bad switch on the dash (Generator switch, pax fan switch, front shade switch) AGAIN!!!! who designs these things. Barely 2 years old (we've had it 10 days) and already 3 bad switches on the front dash. Thanks to everyone for their help and suggestions. You are the best!!!!

Just use the ones that work, do NOT use the ones that don’t work. Your frustration factor will increase exponentially when trying to use the non-working ones. Next thing you’ll be rioting the camper makers!! [emoji23]
