Outdoor TV Repair

Morning and Happy New Year

I have a 2017 Thor, Tuscany 45 AT with a TV outdoors and I need to replace the sound bar and look at putting a different bracket on it. I cannot figure out how to remove the TV or soundbar. I called Thor and they said might have to remove the fireplace first and get at it from the inside.

Any ideas or advice? Thanks all.

I don't think you got good advice. I replaced the outdoor TV in my Hurricane about a year ago. I recall there were screws below the TV. They're hard to see but they're there. Remove those screws and then lift the TV off the mount. It comes right out.

Thor told you to go through the fireplace, huh. That's hilarious... even for them.

If you disassemble the RV only the TV should remain and it’ll come right out. 🤣 just remember to take lots of pics so it’ll be a snap putting it all back together again.

with your Tuscany, if you have an articulating swivel arm, you may find that the connections come thru/from the interior wall/behind the fireplace.
if it's a flat mount, it should be mounting similar/same as the majority of the other outside TVs that most of the rest of us have, which is a screw-mounted frame, which then simply lift up and off the main bracket when the screws are removed.
