Outlet open ground.

My 2013 24 ft Chateau has an outlet inside by the door. When checked it say OPEN GROUND. First thing checked all other outlets, by the TV on cab, outside, under dining table and both GFI. All working fine. Checked breakers, all good. I opened the outlet and pull it out, all three cables were secured to the outlet. Could it be the box, What do I check next?

Look under your sink on the backside of the outlet and see if you can trace the Romex wire. I have a 2020 24F... I'll have to take a peek and see.

If the wire goes into a junction box, it's possible a wire nut is loose in the box. P.S. I'm assuming you are unplugged, etc.

Edit: Just looked at mine and didn't find a junction box... The outlet by my door is GFCI, and those are usually chained together... possibly connected to the bathroom outlets. I might suggest pulling those outlets and looking for a loose wire.

Even though the bathroom indicates good ground, the ground wire which is chained to other outlets may be loose.

Did you get a good ground when you opened the box? Based on what you say, you may need electrical drawing so you can trace from the breaker that you have confirmed good to the outlet receptacle. You have disconnect or miswired ground someplace upstream.

Good job in finding. Be patient to track down to fix.

If it's a crimp on receptacle there might be a bad connection. When I had my old 2020 Jayco j replaced a bunch of receptacles with ones that had 6 amp usb charging ports. Some of the receptacleswere crimp on type and I replaced them with high quality regular ones. One was under a seat by the dinette, I put a old work box in there and cut the Romax and put in the new receptacle. So much nicer to have quality outlets that the wires don't push in the back

Go to your service panel, tighten all grounds on the ground buss bar.
While your doing that, check all wiring that goes into screws.
