Outside Furnace Door

Can anyone tell me how to remove the outside furnace door on my 2016 Fourwinds 31W. I have removed all the screws but it still will not drop down.

The outside vent usually slide over and inside vent pipe. The friction can be enough that you have to wiggle the panel as you slide the vent off of the inside pipe.

I guess your picture is upside down. Is the louvre pointing up. I believe the newer ones do not have the louvre.

Looks as if your louvers are formed the wrong way also and will let rain get into your furnace and electrical parts. You can call or write Thor and see if they will send you a new corrected cover. I haven't had any luck with getting a new one as yet, but I will keep trying. It is a design flaw, and should not be limited by warranty.

Thanks plan on calling tomorrow. I am sure this is how the water is getting into the MH as we have had a lot of wind and rain the last few days here in Casa Grande, Az
