Oven Door Problem

I have a 2014 Thor ACE and I am having a problem with the oven door.

It wont close all the way. Is there an adjustment for this?

When it was open, it may have been pushed downward to far; something may have been bent.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bob

I doubt there is an adjustment but you may be able to disassemble the door hinges for lack of a better word and see if they have been bent. Perhaps you can return them to their original shape or at least know what parts to purchase to make it right again.
Let me guess, your grandson was climbing up to get to the cookies.

Oven door? You know all 3 of our last RV's had ovens and we never used them. Not even once.

You can disassemble the door with a screwdriver and get to the hinges, actually pretty easy to get apart. The hinge is probably bent but can be straightened out with a hammer and a hard surface to bang on. I had to fix one on another coach when my 110 lb dog decided to climb on it, fortunately it wasn't hot, we used it to store pans in.

Good question. Also like the fact that the oven can be used when dry camping without having to run the generator to power the microwave. Have made pizza on many occasions. To each his/her own.

For Gary & Earl

How do I live without biscuits & pizza? I don't. I buy them with a meal in a restaurant. My wife doesn't cook or at least almost never. I do much of the cooking or we eat out. Since I never wanted to spend my time in the RV running the oven, stove and doing feed prep, most of our food on trips is outdoor grilling, microwaveable and mostly take out and sit down restaurant eating. I love biscuits and pizza but I'm not going to make them. I could get a new wife but after 41 years of marriage she's not getting half of my stuff.
