Palazzo outdoor TV

I have a 2013 Thor Palazzo. Does anyone have a clue how to get this TV out of this outdoor compartment ?

On my Challenger the back of the dinette cabinet was removable which allowed access to the back of the exterior TV.

on my 2014 Palazzo, the TV is mounted on a metal base bracket, which is unscrewed in four corners, then 'lifts' up and off the main panel.

My fridge is directly behind the TV so no access without pulling it out. I've yanked hard on TV and it doesn't budge. It it mounted to a metal plate of some sort but the plate is larger than opening

there's only two mount types used in your application:

1) an articulating mount that allows you to pull straight out and move side to side, thus exposing the mount bracket

2) a fixed mount that has "two release paddles" up and under on the backside

If you are unable to move at all...then you have the "two release paddles" mount.

I slide both hands under the back, locate the paddles and "pull" paddles forward to release locking mechanism.
Once released, the entire unit can be "pushed up", unhooked off the top, and pulled away from the bracket.

No luck. I think it's mounted from the back side. I'm wondering if I remove the door frame, the metal piece that it mounts t can be removed with TV attached

Mine has an articulating arm but is held in with magnets. It’s a good pull to get it to come out.

That’s what I have and what Thor uses exclusively for the exterior TV in late models.
Just not sure if the OP’s 2013 has an articulating mount.

Also, you are correct abt needing a “good pull”.
The first time I pulled it out (off it’s magnets) I thought I was breaking it.

Suggest you use small mirror underneath to see what’s on the backside of the TV.
Or take a photo from underneath looking up.

It sounds to me like you actually do have an articulating mount which releases from the left side facing the TV.

Dang near yanked it off. It's obviously solid attached. I guess either the fridge is coming out or door trim off

Did you inspect the mount with a mirror as suggested? Thor uses many different mounts but the are all off the shelf. Ours has 4 screws on the back part of the mount that you can barely see/get to. But unscrew those 4 screws and the TV and mount come away easily.

I'm sure the 2013 model outside tv mount is no different than my 2014 - yes, it is not 'intuitive' as to how it is mounted, but it is simply mounted on a flat piece of square metal slightly larger than the tv itself. The four screws are removed at the corners of this metal 'mount', and then the tv and mounted metal backing are then 'lifted' off.

There are no 'paddles'. There is no 'articulating' mount. It is simply flat-mounted to the tv's cabinet cavity, with a slight ridge on the back of the tv's mount that fits down onto the cabinet's ridge, to hold it in place while you screw/unscrew the mounting screws.

If there is a mounting plate,it is not visible from the front even with a mirror. Possibly from the back, buts that's the problem. You can't get to the back. Fridge is there

all I can say is that you have to be 'missing' something, since obviously this TV 'has' to be able to come out of the cabinet, and no, it's highly doubtful that it was installed 'from the back'.

take some photos all around and close ups and attach them for us to see - we might have some ideas.

My TV in the garage is flat mounted. There is two screws on the bottom of the bracket access level from the bottom with a long screwdriver. Remove them and the tv slides up and off the mount.

I’m looking at the photo posted by the OP

What’s with the black plastic cover plate across the bottom?
Can that be removed?
If so, after removing is there then access to the mounting plate?

As TurnerFam stated above, the TV lifts up and out.
Just gotta figure out how to release it from under the front
