Plastic console

Console/cup holder cracked (dog stepped on it). Does Thor sell replacement? Are there used/salvage businesses that might have? This item is cheap plastic and has no center support (1.25 inch above engine cover). If I can’t find, I’ll break out the marine epoxy and fiberglass, and repair, reinforce center support.

I put <used RV parts> into Google and got lots of 'hits'. I don't know if any might have what you seek - that'll take a lot more searching.

You can contact Thor through their Owners Resource Page (have your vehicle's VIN handy - you need it to log in). I emailed Thor and got a reply either the same day or the next business day. I was able to get the info I wanted and purchase some parts for our ACE.

The plastic welding kit looks like a useful tool. Perhaps that plus some added support under the tray would be the easiest, quickest fix.

You could do that, but...............

Those center consoles suck. The cup holders are particularly worthless.

Find a better replacement on the jungle site, or

Do what we did in the 70s and custom make a wood center console

Yes. Added support.
Anything that will mold to the bottom of that tray and the top of the unseen underlying whatever, will be a cure for future breakage.

I'm going to suggest.
https://www.amazon.com/DAS-Hardening...s%2C180&sr=8-4

Wrapped in plastic wrap then quished to fit.
You'll be surprised what a chunk of this stuff(or similar stuff of your liking) does for voids.

Once glued or 'welded', perhaps fill the underside with spray foam? Let it harden then cut/sand level so it's all well supported?

Spray foam is a tough one for those who don't know it well.
You'd likely need to use the non expanding type on that thin plastic.
One shot too much of regular foam in a confined space and it would break that bottom out or swell the whole thing.

Nonexpanding is the choice.

What did op order?
Repair kit
Clay
New console
Or
Foam?

Agree. I admit I wasn't clear. I wouldn't try to fill it in situ, I'd position it upside down (or, if you prefer, downside up...) and fill it with the spray foam, let it expand & cure then cut/sand it level so it fits on the engine cover giving the plastic tray full support.

How come it's always the same six or so of us offering solutions like ours?

There are some detractors here...where are they when someone needs inventiveness?

I always appreciate your cures and logic.
Others never present any.

It's probably our superior intelligence, unbounded imagination and handsome good looks all exceeded only by our extreme modesty...

While you have it out, cut the bottom out of the cupholders. They'll work a lot better.
