Glue on side coach

Good Morning,

Looking for some expertise on getting this glue off my 2017 Venetian A40. The LED strip light from my awning started dripping glue. Care free sent me a new LED strip but now I need to get all this glue off. I was thinking Goof Off but do not want to harm the finish. I know a good waxing will be in order after.

I have also have a bracket under the doors in the back that keeps pulling from the wall. Doors are heavy for that small bracket. I have some ideas but wanted to see what other people have done.

Thanks for the advice

This stuff is the best in my opinion for glues, adhesives, etc.

I was just using some spray foam to seal up some areas I ran new battery cables for my LiFePO4 conversion. Goo Gone cleaned up the mess... including some I got on my hands even while wearing gloves!

When I was removing the clear paint protector from my older A I used 3M adhesive remover. Comes in aerosol and 1 quart can. I used it today to remove some silicon caulk off the truck.

X2 for GooGone! I've been removing stickers from the coach windows, and ran out of the bottle we've had for about ten years. Amazon to the rescue - new bottle delivered yesterday! Great stuff.

Yesterday after I got the silicone caulk off the truck I took it out to the motorhome since there was some glue residue on the sides from all their stickers. Sprayed some on a paper towel and it removed the residue easily. I've used googone in the past and feel this is easier. Doesn't leave any "cleaner residue" either.

Don't use to much of that stuff...Thor started using glue to assemble MH's when the price of staples got too high. To much of it and you'll find a pile of parts and pieces in the driveway one morning!!
