Plug under drivers seat

We have a 2014 31E and I found a plug under the drivers seats that looks like it comes from the airbag control module that's also under the seat. What's the plug for?

Not sure which chassis you have but I have an E-450 and I have a plug as well. I believe it is for the power seat option.

The plug under my seat is powered full time. I tapped into it to provide power to some new custom seat covers I had made that are heated.

Should also be the seat belt fastened indicator, on some models if you unhook it, the vehicle will not start,not sure on Ford chassis

I just had my seats out because I installed sound deadening material. I have power seats in my 2016 Quantum, so yes, one is for the power seats, the other for the seat belt warning.

is the power seats wires black and yellow/red stripe? if so i got the same plug.

i assume theres no such plug on the passenger side.

Seat belt warning? Seat belt interlock? Airbag?
My 2019 didn't come with any safety features.
It's all old school.......which can only demonstrate the power of the RV lobbying groups

And the passenger side seat belt arrived poorly installed & missing parts.
