Power & battery storage control

I have a 2013 32a. My battery storage switches stopped working awhile ago. They just always stay on. I am not sure if I need to replace the switch or coujd there be something else. They main problem now is I am connected to shore power. Things are working well for a few hours. Then the coach disconnect light starts to dim and the ac and lights stop working. Plugs and microwave still work. Slides won’t work. Then I start the engine, run it a few minutes and whalla everything works again. I can’t figure it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Mark

Sounds like your converter/charger is not working.

Is there a way to test the converter?

A 'quick test' is to turn off the main breaker (30A or 50 amp) in the RV panel, wait a min. and turn it back on, then you should hear the converter fan run, right below the breaker/fuse panel it is located. Is the breaker "on" for the converter? Push it fully "off", then back "on" to reset it.
Next.... do you have and can use a multimeter?

Your BCC is located under the hood in front, that will be the next task.

Also, there is a 50 amp circuit breaker in the BCC (lower LH corner) that has a button on it if it trips, it is the feed for the fuse panel.

EDIT: Unless you have an inverter that also can charge the batteries...

I think a check of your batteries might be the place to start. How old are they?

"12 v" is a half dead battery. Fully charge batteries are 12.6 to 12.8 VDC.

Good job! First thing to know is where the equipment is and what it does.
