Power to Dash Fuse Panel

Hi,

I did some searching but did not find this exact issue elsewhere. Everything that is fused in the front dash panel has stopped working. I have checked all the fuses and they are fine. Is there a breaker/fuse between the battery and this fuse box? I called Thor and they sent a nice diagram of the buss box, and said it sounded like I needed to replace the whole buss box. Seems odd to me. I appreciate any help--thank you.

Jim

The entire front cap fuse panel is powered by a 100 amp circuit breaker on the right front frame rail next to the chassis battery. circuit breaker is a Bussmann automotive type like found in the house battery compartment.

thank you!

thanks Jim & Roy--I will look for that breaker. I sure hope that's what it is. I will post back the results.

It was the breaker as pointed out. Flipped the reset button and all is well. Now, just need to figure out why my camera switch is not working. I put a meter to the wire block coming in and it has power.

Was wondering were you found the “Bussmann” panel, I have a 2018 25.3 and need to check power to the F3 fuse for charging.
Thanks

I originate and plugged in the connector to the blend door for the heated/AC. While putting dash back all the power went out. I checked all the fuses under the hood and at the fuse box under dash and all are good.

I’ll answer my own question, I found it in the lower rear of the front left hand storage compartment.

Jim,
any idea how to open that fuse box? I'm trying to wire to the spare fuse and I need to get access behind the fuses.

Thanks

Best to tap into the chassis battery and run with an inline fuse to what ever you need. Thais what id did for the air horns,. If you just need a little power (couple amps) in the dash area, I would tap into the mirror heat. The extra USB receptacles, digital voltmeter and TPMS are wired into the mirror heat circuit.
