Toilet Shut Off.

I have a Vegas 24.1, 2018 and am planning to head south next week from RI. The RV is winterized, and I do not plan to run any water till I get to warmer temps. I saved a gallon and a half of RV antifreeze for bathroom use (if needed), but realized that with any flush antifreeze from water line will enter the toilet when trap is opened. Does the toilet have a shut-off, so when toilet is flushed to open trap, nothing will enter the toilet from waterline?

Leave the pump off when you "flush" with the pink stuff. Shouldn't be a problem if a little pink running out of the lines your heading south and will have to blow the lines clear of pink stuff when you get to warmer climes anyway. Wish it was us heading out of the snow belt. Happy & Safe Travels

Thank you. Then there is no specific shut-off for the toilet?

Not that I am aware of, but I don't have your model and to be honest I never looked on my ACE for a separate toilet off, never had the reason to look have only had it for one season. On our old Gulfstream which we had for 10+ years there was no separate water shut off to the toilet. When we traveled in winter we just "flushed" with pink stuff till we hit the Fla/Ga KOA and dewinterized on a full hook up.

No shut off for just the toilet. As advised, turn pump off and you're good "to go". Actually, the antifreeze is good for the holding tank as well...it will find it's way down to the valves...which is even better! Have the chicks put their paper in zip-lock bags...this will eliminate a paper clog since water is not present. Remember the "S.O.S" Rule...S**t On Shore.
