Problem w Miramar slides

We have a 2018 Thor Miramar 35.2 with two slides. We are having trouble with the driver side slide not coming in evenly. The side closest to the bathroom moves in while the side closest to the driver seat seems to get stuck. With manual pushing, sometimes from outside the vehicle, sometimes in, we can get it moving in. However, this doesn’t seem like a long-term solution. Honest most recent trip, we started to have trouble with the smaller slide also. The couch is now starting to leave scratch marks on the floor as it is dragging.

There have been times that we have to repeatedly re-level the vehicle in order to get it in, all super stressful when trying to leave a campground. Has anyone had a similar situation? Did you find a solution?

Thank you.

Have you synced the motors?

There are several sources of slide issues. Synching the motors may help with the one issue.

There should be NO marking on the floor by the slide. get on the floor with a flashlight and make sure nothing has rolled underneath it. If that is not the problem I would not use that slide until it is evaluated by your dealer.

The above advice is good advice but I have one word for you........ Vroom.

Search Vroom on this site and you will learn what your next move should be.

Your full-wall slide is destine to fail because it is too big and heavy for the lousy Schwintek Slide Mechanism. I estimate 80% of the full-wall slides out there will have one if not multiple issues with the Schwintek Mechanism.

Having to re-level to get it back in is a sign of torquing that the Schwintek mechanism can't deal with because of the slide size and weight.

Every person on this site who replaced their Schwintek Meachanism with the Vroom Slide System has had nothing but positive things to say about it performs. One person just had the Vroom System installed on all three slides on their coach.

I'm not saying you can't get your slide issues fixed / resolved. But I am saying you might spend a couple thousand to have them properly addressed but it will likely happen again. For a little more money you can get a permanent solution that is stress free.

Here is another satisfied customer show just posted about their experience:
