It reaches when they open the gate and you drive the coach in. It is more difficult if the tank is on the passenger side though.,

I just get propane when I need it at the first place I come to that has it. And is convenient and easy enough to get in and out of.

Yup propane is just fuel fill up when you need to wherever convienent.

I've had to make use of a campground's ability to fill the propane on occasion--rather do that than waste time going somewhere else got important vacationing to do !

I have two options:

a. Have home delivery truck top-off RVC propane tank when home tanks are refilled.
b. Propane store is just up the road so I can pull around back for a refill.

All I was sayiní for those of you who have owned a Travel Trailer:
Itís so much easier to fill the first tank whenís it empties and switches over to the full second tank.
EZ to remove the empty one, throw in rear of tow vehicle, and get it filled.

VS

You gotta drive the entire rig (25í, 30í, 35í motorhome) to get the Propane filled.
And, with these inaccurate sensors Iím never very sure how much propane remains.

One time the sensor on my THOR said EMPTY, but the service tech could only get 4 gallons in my tank. Then because I didnít meet their minimum, he charged me an additional $5.

So, needless to say, I donít like the current propane set-up on my Motorhome.

Thank you.
Iíve got the Extend A Stay items in my Amazon ďSaved For LaterĒ bucket.
I just donít see a need at this time.

Iím not going to carry an extra tank for boon docking.
And, if Iím plugged into shore power at a campground I use electric for heat & fridge.

For me itís all about being able to accurately know how much propane I have remaining in the single tank which holds just 7.4 gallons.

Iím thankful that I donít have a propane generator. Then Iíd really be on a rant.

Added an Extend-a-Stay when we were snowbirding and parked for 3+ months... after paying for mobile propane delivery once...

For future long trips in cooler weather we carried an empty 20lb tank in case needed. Easy to run out and fill with the toad if we needed it. Only the furnace drinks propane at a fast pace - otherwise the tank lasts all season.

Use the full pressure tap on the Extend-a-Stay quite often for grill supply.

If your in an area where there are Menards stores, most if not all have propane in the front parking lot for motor homes or tanks

Pilot or Loves. The tractor supply around the corner does not.

Not sure where in Mass you are located but I have used O’Connor Hardware In Billerica and Reading Hardware on Route 28 in Reading. O’Connor’s is easier to maneuver around, but both are roughly the same price. Have also used UHaul on Route 38 in Wilmington.

Usually at Camping World on a Tuesday to get their 15% discount... note. They may have changed policy to discount every day

I agree with you. Our old fifth wheel had dual 30# tanks and when one was empty I would just switch to the other tank. I could then take the other tank to get filled wherever/whenever was convenient. Much easier to drive the car/truck around to a propane place instead of the RV.
