Propane valve kachunk

I have a 2022 Sequence that apparently has an issue with the propane valve solenoid. I can hear a kachunk from under the van at random times (no propane being used by anything) We thought we had a heater problem because the Truma would throw a code about propane supply and shut off. (This makes for cold middle of the night drama in the coach.) We had the Truma checked out and they didn't find anything. I think what is happening is the valve kachunks while the Truma is running and the gas flow gets momentarily disrupted, hence the code. Anyone have any ideas how to remedy this situation? The dealer and local repair places are all booked up for over a month and I'd kinda like to go camping with no heater drama if it is something I can fix myself. Thanks.

Well you gotta do some logical troubleshooting to determine if you have a bad solenoid valve, a bad propane detector, or bad wiring.

Any suggestions how I would start that process?

You could start by downloading the propane detector and valve manuals. Then do a visual inspection of the wiring from the propane detector to the valve. If nothing looks suspect, wire up a direct (fused) 12 VDC line to the valve to see if it eliminates the issue. If not, it's a valve problem, if that eliminates the issue then back to wiring and propane detector.
