Psg side mirror not going up and down

This happened last weekend. PSG side mirror not going up and down anymore but does go side to side!

Drv side mirror works fine so switch is good.

Anyone ever have this problem?

There are some videos of Hurricane side mirrors being replaced on Youtube, but not sure about just a single directional mirror adjustment issue. Sounds like it might be a bad connection for that motor; a failed motor (for that direction) inside the mirror body, or what about some small piece of debris that perhaps is jamming that particular mirror gearing?

There are two small 12 volt motors behind the glass. One has lost power (broken wire or disconnected wire)
or died. The make and model are usually on the equipment list on the inside of the bedroom closet door.

Mine goes up and down but not side to side:

Either a bad motor or bad connection.

Pretty far down on my "To Do" list to check it out.

I saw videos on you tube re: replacement. I would just like to replace the dead motor but have no clue how to do it.

I back the RV next to my gable roof house so this is top priority for me as I have only inches of clearance.

Anyway, thanks for the information, the hunt continues

Order the new motor

It was the actuator! Simple fix.

Remember the mirror stopped going up and down but did go side to side. I reversed the wires on the switch and diagnosed it was the mirror and not the switch.

Removed the glass, 4 screws and tested the actuator with w 9 volt battery. Indeed one of the motors was dead.

Ordered a new actuator





($65.00) and installed = mirror goes up and down again.
